The energy provider enercity continues to expand the charging infrastructure for electric cars in Hanover, which could soon make Hannover an e-mobility capital.

By cooperating with Germany's leading electric car rental company nextmove, enercity wants to inspire more people in Hanover for electromobility. Initially, six electric vehicle types will be covered by Hannover's nextmove fleet, which is available for hire at the enercity location in Glocksee. Shortly additional brands will be added.

At this first location in Hanover (and Lower Saxony anyway), enercity and nextmove have a steadily growing selection of the most up-to-date electric cars. The brands available include:

The rental offers enable private customers and companies a quick and risk-free entry into electromobility.

On the occasion of the start of the new service, Dr. Ing. Susanna Zapreva (enercity CEO):

"Our aim is to make it easier for our customers to get into electromobility. For this we create attractive complete packages from the vehicle via the charging infrastructure and its operation to the traction current available throughout Europe. We are sure that the rental station at enercity will provide our customers with an attractive opportunity to get started with e-cars.

In this way, our customers can gain positive experience with their electromobile energy experience and make a well-founded decision for the right vehicle ".

Stefan Moeller (nextmove CEO) says about the start in Hannover:

"To use an electric car, to understand its benefits, you have to feel, in the truest sense of the word", "Therefore, it is crucial to bring people through the risk-free rent in electric cars and everyday experiences over weeks or months to make , We are delighted that enercity approached us less than three months ago in order to be able to offer this experience to people and companies in the Hanover region together with us. "

By renting a vehicle you can quickly and easily test different electric cars

From the fleet, customers can test different models, compare and make an informed purchase decision for their own vehicle. The waiting times for new electric cars currently amount to several months to a year for almost all manufacturers. If you do not want to wait so long for a new car, you can buy your rental car after an extensive test phase without risk from nextmove. So a monthly rent for the Smart EQ is possible from 18 Euro per day.

The vehicle fleet is kept at the enercity charging stations next to the historic gasometer (Glockseestraße 33, 30159 Hannover).

Further information and the exact terms and conditions for e-car rental are available on telephone number 0511 – 430-3113 (Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 18:00) or online at https://www.enercity.de/elektromobilitaet/elektroautos/index. html or http://www.nextmove.de

Enercity AG has dedicated itself to the massive expansion of the public charging infrastructure in the Hannover region. Today, enercity already operates more than 70 publicly accessible charging points – in the current year 200 charging points will be added. In order to make Hanover the No. 1 e-mobility city, the company has set up a team to establish a broad network of cooperation and partners. All tariff customers purchase green electricity, so e-mobility with enercity is also CO2-free.
