Of course, this also applies to the design of the current Camaro, which can be described as brutal without exaggerating. The sports car is edged, the long bonnet ends abruptly without tilting towards the road surface. It seems that the goal here was to create a front view that would fill out the entire rear-view mirror of the vehicle in front, even if there were still several hundred meters between the vehicles. Chevrolet is clearly in the Camaro on physical presence – fans of discreet performances are certainly not warm with him.
If you get into the Camaro, experienced a positive surprise. The days of cheap hard plastic are over. The interior seems upbeat, and the quality testers at the American carmaker have done a decent job – which one may assume in a car for about 50,000 euros but also. When it comes to connectivity, there is nothing to complain about, a high-resolution 8-inch central screen displays information such as navigation data, features and infotainment features and is the control panel for the MyLink infotainment system. Amazing: The Camaro can be moved quickly and accurately on winding roads, although the first impression gives the feeling of moving quite a chunk. This lightness one does not trust the sports car from the USA at first. When downshifting, the active speed adjustment supports "Active Rev Match" with automatic and perfectly fitting intermediate gas.
The Recaro performance bucket seats, available for an additional € 1,900, make this grumbling Ami feel like he's a made-to-measure – not a fine Milanese twist, though, rather the superhero Iron Man. That fits.
