With the model care of the E-class is the sales release will start on 03. June 2020, if not for all engines. This Mercedes has the E-model, extensively revised, in the exterior and in the interior, and now features a more efficient engine range. For the first time, 4MATIC comes with the Plug-In hybrids. We have all the Details of the engine Lineup.
Overall, the model care of the E-class is a seven Plug-In Hybrid versions of Diesel and gasoline engines with rear – and all-wheel drive to offer 4MATIC all–. In addition to the use of Integrated Starter-generators in all of the 4-cylinder petrol engines are offered for the All-Terrain variant, for the first time with two petrol engine choices, as well as new off-road driving programs.
Changes there are, however, also for existing engines: the E 400 4MATIC in the future in the Limousine and T-model only a reduced output of 330 HP (previously 340 HP). In addition, the current E will be accounted for 350 d in the Limousine and T-model, as well as the E 350 sedan.
The elimination of the E 350 d is more than consistent, especially as this variant with the later introduction of the E 300 d and OM 654 M ISG Motorization is offset with 265 + 20 HP.
The E 63 Model without S – there will be no more, however, expected to be in the future, while the E 63 S with the identical and unchanged motorization to the model of care will start. The E 53 4MATIC+ was also in the drive not modified.
New, however, is E 300 de 4MATIC with 194 + 122 HP (306 PS system performance), as well as the E 450 4MATIC with 367+22 HP (M 256), as well as the E 300 e 4MATIC (only available as a sedan) with 211+122 HP (320 HP system performance).
For the Plug-In hybrid (E-300 E-de) change with the model of care, by the way, no loading space dimensions, the remain in comparison to the predecessor, is completely identical – that is, the significant stage in the trunk of 153 mm (W 213) and 126 mm in the T-model to 503 mm (W 213) in the sedan and 492/526 mm depth in the T-model. The stage is, therefore, still a good 1,000 mm (W 213) / 1,100 mm (S-213) wide, and 593 mm (W 213) / 605 mm (S 213) high.
